“We reduced physical inventory time from 72 hours to less than 4 hours. Accuracy went from 94% to 99.8% in the first quarter.”
Client Onboarding Portal
The client onboarding portal was designed to reduce the initial setup time for RFID systems in corporate warehouses. The project arose from a specific need: new clients took up to three weeks to complete the registration of their facilities, readers, and users on the Sectarid platform.
The approach was to divide the process into sequential steps with real-time validation. Each stage —warehouse registration, antenna assignment, reading zone configuration, and credential creation— was resolved before moving to the next. Generic forms were eliminated and replaced with wizards that displayed only the relevant fields based on the client's infrastructure type.
The implementation was carried out on the same database as the traceability system, without duplicating information. Configuration data was written directly into the operation tables, eliminating the need for subsequent migrations. Automatic connectivity tests were added upon completion of each registration: the portal verified that the reader responded and that the antennas were in the correct zone before marking the registration as complete.
The result was a reduction in onboarding time from three weeks to four business days. Initial configuration errors dropped by 70% because the portal did not allow proceeding with incomplete or inconsistent data. Additionally, the support team stopped receiving inquiries about basic steps: the portal itself displayed specific error messages and correction suggestions.
Confirmation materials include time logs per client during the first six months of operation, connectivity test reports, and satisfaction surveys from the implementation team. These documents are available for internal review and auditing.
The portal was integrated with the existing ticket system: when a client completed the registration, a support case was automatically generated for final verification. This eliminated the need for follow-up emails and ensured that no registration was left unreviewed.
